A new 55,000 square foot self-storage complex has opened in Southport. This is the 13th location for SureStore, part of Wilmslow-based Flexiss Group.
This multi-purpose self-storage facility is an important milestone in the company’s expansion, offering a wide range of storage solutions to residential and business customers.
SureStore Southport is located on 1.4 acres with 55,000 square feet of leasable space. The 4th generation facility boasts 500 storage units and is suitable for a variety of self-storage requirements.
SureStore Southport offers secure self-storage units ranging from 10 sq ft to over 250 sq ft, as well as adaptable trade counter and office space for local businesses. Additionally, the property offers a last-mile logistics unit, a van rental partnership with Hertz, and dedicated parking spaces.
The development was realized in partnership with investment partner Seneca on a site previously owned by supermarket giant Tesco on Scarisbrick New Road.
This high-tech facility is equipped with Nokē, a state-of-the-art keyless access system that operates via Bluetooth for secure, hassle-free smart entry. Users also have access to the new SureStore app, where self-storage customers can manage their accounts.
In 2022, SureStore opens its first net-zero carbon self-storage store in Wokingham. Continuing the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the new SureStore Southport is equipped with solar panels to reduce the facility’s carbon footprint and utilize renewable energy for its operations.
An EV supercharger is also available on-site that can charge your vehicle to 80% in 30 minutes.
