Sharon Osbourne has spoken out about cancel culture, claiming she is unemployable in the US because people across the pond think she is a “racist”.
She opened on ITV’s “Celebrity Big Brother”, which she is currently appearing on, and defended Piers Morgan after leaving “Good Morning Britain” in 2021, which led to her appearing on the US chat show “The Talk”. He mentioned that he was dismissed from the show.
Osbourne, 71, has lived in the US with her family, including rocker husband Ozzy, for more than 20 years, but her TV appearances were effectively canceled in 2021 after backlash for her opinions.
After Morgan’s sensational exit from Good Morning Britain over his refusal to apologize for his views on Meghan Markle, he got into a spat with former co-host Sheryl Underwood and left CBS. He has stepped down from his panel role on “The Talk.”
Comedian Underwood asked Osbourne: “While you stand by your friend, you may feel like you’re acknowledging that his or her comments were racist or giving them a safe space, even if you didn’t do so.” What do you say to people? Don’t you agree?
The former X Factor judge said: “I feel like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend who many people think is a racist. So I’m a racist too.” insisted.

A statement from the show was released shortly afterwards, with a spokesperson saying: “Sharon Osbourne has decided to leave The Talk.
“The events that occurred on the March 10th broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including viewers watching at home.
“As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode was not consistent with our values for a respectful workplace.”

Reflecting on events in the famous Big Brother house, Osbourne told Real Housewives star Lauren Simon and former X Factor colleague Louis Walsh:
“She hasn’t done anything wrong, she hasn’t done anything!” Walsh added as he wrestled in his friend’s corner, before Simon asked, “Can’t you work in American TV anymore?” Ta.
“I can legally hire people, but no one will hire me because they say I’m a racist,” Osborne explained.
“How can you be a racist?” the reality star wondered, and Osbourne agreed: “How can you be racist?” They think we don’t know what it’s like to be bullied, but I don’t bully anyone because of their race or religion. ”

“I panicked and felt like I wasn’t thinking, I became defensive and the fear and fear of being accused of being a racist took over.
“There are few things that hurt my heart more than racism, so I get easily agitated when I feel associated with it. I’m not perfect, but I’m still learning, just like everyone else. We will continue to learn, listen and do better.”
