NORMAN, Okla. (AP) – Chance McMillian scored 27 points and No. 20 Texas Tech defeated No. 11 Oklahoma 85-84 on Saturday, cementing the Red Raiders’ lead in the Big 12.
Pop Isaacs scored 18 points, including 13 in the second half as the Red Raiders (16-3, 5-1) overcame a nine-point deficit.
McMillian made 10 of 13 shots for the Red Raiders and 6 of 8 from 3-point range for the Red Raiders, who shot 52.6 percent from the field.
Isaacs made two free throws with 2.1 seconds left in the game to give Texas Tech an 85-81 lead. As time expired, Oklahoma’s Rivaldo Soares made a 3-point shot. He led the Sooners (15-5, 3-4) with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Oklahoma has lost four of its last six games against Texas Tech and six of its last eight.
Otega Oweh scored 14 points, Milos Uzan and Sam Godwin each added 13 points for the Sooners, who shot 47.5 percent from the field and 42.3 percent from 3-point range.

Texas Tech: The Red Raiders proved Saturday they can win with limited production from leading scorer Isaacs, who averaged 19.8 points per game in conference play. Isaacs only scored five points in the first half, but three other players on the team scored in double figures, including Joe Toussaint, who scored 14 points in the final half, including four clutch free throws.
Oklahoma: The Sooners’ seven-week streak of being in the top 15 is in jeopardy. They have suffered two consecutive losses and continue to struggle against teams higher in the rankings. The Sooners’ only win in the top 25 this season came in November against the then No. 1 Sooners. 23 U.S.C.
