Cambridge Tech Week concludes in 2023, running from 9th to 14th September for the second year in a row, with a jam-packed program highlighting the breakthrough innovations created within clusters and impacting the world. Masu.
Details of the showcase will be announced at a launch event on Thursday 15th February at Mills & Reeve’s Botanic House headquarters in Cambridge. The event will feature presentations by David Moore, CEO of Pragmatic Semiconductor, Carmen Palacios Velaquero of New Quantum, and Pam Garside, the first female chairman of Cambridge Angels.
Cambridge serial entrepreneurs Stan Boland (CEO of FiveAI), Manjari Chandran Ramesh (partner at Amadeus Capital) and Sian Hughes (partner at Sure Valley Ventures) will join Cambridge in September. He will be speaking at a similar event in London next week to encourage more visitors. .
Once again, CTW’s aim is to highlight how Cambridge brains are helping transform the way people live and work around the planet.
A new feature of CTW 2024 is a collaboration between CTW and Business Weekly. The initiative takes the form of a new contest, the format of which is currently being kept secret. Initial thinking is that the CTW award will include some element of successful scale-up. The awards form the new Cambridge Tech Week category at the 34th Business Weekly Awards.
CTW Chair Chris Bruce will announce details in the spring, including how and when to enter the contest, rules for participation, and the purpose of the contest. The results will not be announced until the winners are announced at the annual awards banquet held at Queen’s College, Cambridge, on Wednesday 11 September each year.
