Dorset company TwentySevenTech has confirmed investment talks with an unnamed private equity firm are at “late stage”.
The company has a partnership with advisory business FRP Corporate Finance, which could lead to an acquisition by the advisor technology company next year.
Twenty7tec says it is in the later stages of a process where private equity investors may take a stake in the business.
Once completed, the capital provided as a result of this process will support accelerated investment in the company’s existing product set and also fund further acquisitions of other exciting advisory technology businesses. Masu.
The company added that FRP Corporate Finance, which played a role in Twenty7tec’s previous three acquisitions, is currently negotiating.
James Tucker, Chief Executive Officer of Twenty7tec, added: “We remain very ambitious about Twenty7tec and the role we can play in supporting all companies involved in financial advice.
“We believe there needs to be continued consolidation across the advice technology market to help technology companies deliver the best possible solutions to their customers.”
“We are on track to achieve the intended outcome of this process and will make further announcements once completed.”
Last year, Twenty7tec acquired digital lead converter company Meet Parker, mortgage affordability platform Broker Sense, and mortgage, protection and wealth management customer relationship management company Bluecoat Software for an undisclosed amount.
