BearingPoint is hiring Cloud Solutions Architects, Senior Solutions Architects, Data and Analytics Managers, and DevOps Container Engineers.
BearingPoint, a global technology consulting firm, announced today (March 4) that it plans to increase its workforce by 15%. The company, which has offices in Dublin, aims to create 50 new jobs in 2024.
During 2023, BearingPoint increased its workforce in Ireland by 30%. The company is currently recruiting for a wide range of graduate positions across technology and business consulting, as well as experienced positions focused on software and technology.
Coinciding with the latest employment news, the company announced the appointment of four new directors based in Ireland to lead its expansion in Ireland.
The four new executives will be tasked with leading the growth of their respective divisions, with a particular focus on expanding talent and growing the team. In Ireland, BearingPoint is looking to fill roles such as Cloud Solutions Architect, Senior Solutions Architect, Data and Analytics Manager, and DevOps Container Engineer.
Karl Byrne has been appointed Director and Head of Software Development. He manages the software development process for client projects and grows BearingPoint’s software consulting business. Byrne has over 25 years of commercial experience in software engineering for consumer and enterprise markets.
Stephen Redmond will take on the role of Director and Head of Data Analytics and AI at BearingPoint. Phillip Fitzpatrick works in his Microsoft Services division at BearingPoint. He has over 30 years of experience in this field, having headed the Microsoft Technology Center in Dublin.
Finally, Michael Morrissey has been appointed Director of Technology Advisory Client Business Development at BearingPoint. His primary focus is on acquiring new corporate clients, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and providing advisory services.
Gillian O’Sullivan, partner and country leader at BearingPoint Ireland, said the recruitment announcement and news of the appointment was “evidence” of the company’s continued investment in Ireland. The company previously announced it would be hiring 100 new positions in Ireland in 2022.
