What did I miss?
The Morning hosts Rylan Clarke and Rochelle Humes had a busy day of interviews scheduled for Tuesday, including a sit-down with Chancellor Rishi Sunak and the parents of the Nottingham attack victims. However, viewers claim that they “couldn’t understand” what they were saying.
Mr Clarke and Mr Humes are two of the regular rotating hosts on ITV’s daytime show and have proven popular with viewers in the past, but many believe they are more I felt that I was not suitable for such an interview.
People complained that the prime minister got an easy ride by chatting with two presenters from entertainment backgrounds as he expressed his views on e-cigarette laws, junior doctors’ pay and his own fasting.
What, how and why?

Clark and Humes covered a wide range of topics, from the Snack Monday fast to the ban on disposable e-cigarettes to his feelings on the junior doctors’ strike.
However, TV stars were criticized for not criticizing him enough, as one person commented about X: “Rishi Sunak is being interviewed on ITV at 11.25 this morning by Rochelle and Rylan, two prominent political journalists known for their forensic cross-examinations. As for me,” I take a break. ”

Last week, presenters Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond interviewed opposition leader Sir Keir Starmer.
Viewers continued to mock the interview, with one commenting: “I’m surprised Rylan and Rochelle didn’t ask about Northern Ireland this morning! They must have run out of time…”, while another said: “Sunak bravely agreed to make brutally harsh statements,” he wrote. An interview with astute political minds Rylan Clark and Rochelle Hulmes. ”
“#ThisMorning’s first question to Rishi is about his fasting. FFS, let’s go. Next up: vaping, chewing gum stuck in the toilet, and should I put a toilet paper roll on top? It’s about whether it should be put down,” one person fumed, while someone else added. Rochelle had to stop chatting and joking so much with Rishi. Life under the Conservative Party is no laughing matter. ”
One viewer said: “Rylan and Rochelle were asking Rishi all the tough questions on This Morning, but could he have asked for an easier ride? I don’t think he did. I think so,” he commented, summarizing the atmosphere.
What else happened this morning?
Political interviews were not the only important issue on Tuesday’s schedule for Mr Clarke and Mr Humes, who also spoke to some of the families of the victims of the Nottingham attack.
Valdo Calokane murdered Ian Coates, Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley Kumar in Nottingham last summer, and the parents of students Webber and O’Malley Kumar visited this morning to share their thoughts on Calocane’s sentence.
However, viewers once again felt the presenter was out of his depth, with one person commenting: The parents of the Nottingham attack victims or the Prime Minister. ”
Another agreed, saying: “Rylan and Rochelle were totally pissed off by this interview. I feel so bad for these parents.”
Another viewer said: “I think Rylan handled the interview as well as she could. But Rochelle’s inexperience is completely out of her depth when dealing with such a sensitive issue. It showed that,” he wrote.
