Kylie Jenner quickly shut down a question about Timothée Chalamet during an interview focused on her “new look.”
Jenner, 26, keeps her fans updated on fashion and style with her Instagram posts, and followers have been able to see her tastes change over time.
In a new interview with The New York Times, Jenner explained that she no longer has a “thick mane” of hair that cascades down her back. She doesn’t wear eyelash extensions or have “long nails” for her fingernails.
Now a mother of two young children, Jenner said she is “wearing a little bit of skin” and prefers not to reveal too much of herself to the public.
“When you share a lot, you’re open to more comments and opinions about your life,” she explained.
That said, Jenner opened up about her struggles to regain her self after giving birth, recalling that her style started changing about a year ago when her son, Aire, turned 1.
“After having a child, it takes a while to feel like yourself again,” she explained. “Then your body gets back on track and you’re like, ‘Wait, the trend has changed.'”
Last summer, Jenner surprised some fans by wearing a puff-sleeved maxi dress while on vacation. She is in contrast to her previous appearance.
Some people speculated that this new look might be related to her relationship with Timothée Chalamet, who recently looked cozy and comfortable at the Golden Globes.
However, when asked if Chalamet influenced her fashion, Jenner was quick to move on.
“I don’t know how I feel about that,” she said, before clarifying on the topic of Chalamet: “I just don’t want to talk about personal things.”
The comment comes as some fans speculate that Chalamet and Jenner may have gone their separate ways, after Chalamet was conspicuously absent from some of Jenner’s recent posts. However, it’s worth noting that Chalamet has been busy promoting his new movie. Dune 2.
Jenner stressed the importance of protecting not only her love life, but her children, asking reporters not to quote her 6-year-old daughter in interviews.
The Times noted that Jenner reduced her online posts about her children by 47 percent from 2022 to 2023, saying the mother wanted to “minimize” their children’s exposure. [her] Control’.
