In a recent interview with Attitude magazine, the Irish host admitted that he had crossed almost everyone off his list of people he wanted to interview, especially after Julia Roberts made her long-awaited debut on her talk show late last year. Ta.
However, one name remained.
“We did really well,” he said of his famous guests. “I used to say Julia Roberts, but now that she’s just been born, it’s Brad Pitt. We’re scraping down a very glamorous barrel.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Graham singly claimed that most of the guests were “really nice, fun people.” kelly clarkson The most surprising thing was that he “didn’t expect her to be this fun and she’s hilarious.”
Graham added of the more difficult interviews: “I never blame the guests if they aren’t great, because it’s no one’s job to be a guest on a chat show. But some people… have a hard time.
“Someone like Robert De Niro, he’s a nice, sweet presence on the show. But, you know, he’s not chat show gold, I’m telling you.”
Mr Graham admitted last year that he had particular reasons to avoid letting British politicians sit on the famous sofa.
“It’s a stupid late-night show,” he said. “And I always think, if you’re a politician, you’ve got more important things to do right now than sit on my couch.”
He also opened up about finding celebrities who would “compete” with other guests for their anecdotes.
