Tom compares himself to O.J. and George Floyd

Nor is he the former professional baseball player who made national headlines after being chased for hours through Los Angeles for allegedly murdering his wife, although he was later found not guilty. But during this interview, Tom had a “command” to compare himself and Skandoval to O.J. Simpson and George Floyd. The Vanderpump Rules star was asked a quick question about why she thinks the scandal has become so big. I would venture to say that the columnist was taken aback by Tom’s ridiculous answer.
Tom replied: “I’m not a pop culture historian, but I saw the O.J. Simpson incident, the George Floyd incident, and all these big events. It’s really weird to compare this to that. But what do you think?’ Oddly enough, it’s a bit the same?
No, Tom. I don’t think the part where you consciously chose to have an affair is anything like O.J.’s iconic car chase or the tragic murder of George Floyd. It may be strange to become a notorious icon among reality TV viewers. But that doesn’t mean Sandoval had a real impact on society. I’m sure he had a better comparison.
Tom’s delusions deepen
Bravo suspended Tom from speaking to interviewers for several days following the George Floyd comments. But upon his return, Sandoval’s delusions seemed to have deepened, especially regarding his reasons for moving to Los Angeles in the first place.
According to Sandy, he just liked to “pretend”, which is quite ironic. Because that’s why he lives his life pretending to be an A-list star, even though he’s currently a C-list at best. Tom claimed that he has “a variety of looks. I can do the emo look of ‘Daddy doesn’t love me,’ and I can also do a cooler look.” Well, Tom, keep telling yourself.
Tom’s reality is questionable
So who does Sandoval live for? It’s certainly not for himself in the traditional sense. I guess Tom lives for a reality he has created for himself. A New York Times profile claimed that Tom seemed unable to understand the real parts of his daily life and the moments made for television.
He kept reminding me to turn on the recorder. Tom also plans to call Bravo producers to “ask how quickly we can get cameras close by” to film his conversation with Tom Schwartz. This form of hyperreality clearly has a negative effect on Tom and his co-stars.
Tom has already apologized
The mustachioed bug has already apologized for his outlandish comments. He wrote on his Instagram Story: “My intention in commenting in the New York Times Magazine was to illustrate the level of national media attention my case received. This comparison was inappropriate and ignorant. Very I’m disappointed and embarrassed.” Could this be the moment Tom was cancelled?
Everything he thought Scandoval could bring to the table stalled because the brand didn’t want to associate with fraudsters. Tom was hoping to live with the Chippendales in Las Vegas this winter because, he says, they’re “doing great right now.” According to Tom, “Everyone won in this. The cast, the executives, the network, everyone made a lot of money. But I put it on myself to create the best opportunity possible.
