Sabrina Carpenter had a hard time seeing excited fans as she was forced to do an interview in bright sunlight Monday morning.
The 25-year-old American singer, who is a support act for Taylor Swift on her Elas tour, appeared live on Nines Today with hosts Karl Stefanovic and Sara Abo.
She was tasked with answering questions from her adoring fans, and the Q&A session was held outdoors to make room for the large crowd waiting to see the pop star.
But Sabrina, now blind, had difficulty even seeing the crowd in the bright sunlight.
Sabrina had to stand on stage alongside Carl, 49, and Sarah, with many fans in the shade, leaving the songstress exposed to the elements.

Sabrina couldn’t help but comment on the intense sunlight as she had to protect her eyes to see the adoring fans who asked her questions about her stay in Australia and Elas’ tour.
When we got on stage, Sabrina said, “Your sun is so bright!”
At the end of the Q&A, Sabrina also seemed unimpressed with the setup, thanking fans for getting up early for the 8:30 a.m. interview and complaining about the sun.
she told her fans: “We’re all here and the sun is shining really hard on us!”
Elsewhere in the Q&A, Sabrina also revealed the exciting news that she will be returning Down Under with her own tour after supporting Taylor on tour with Ella.
When a fan asked her if she would consider returning to her own headlining tour, Sabrina excitedly replied: She said, “The managers are looking at me with smiles on their faces, so yes, yes, that’s very happening.”
Hinting that more details would be announced in the future, she added: “The date has not been decided yet, but I will let you know soon.”
Sabrina received a grand welcome from the crowd, handing out friendship bracelets, flowers, and other handmade gifts prior to her interview.
She asserted that the positive reception Sydney fans have given her is unlike any other and passionately said that Sydney fans are special.
Sabrina travels Down Under with Taylor, taking to the stage to perform for fans each night before the international megastar’s show.
However, her set had to be canceled at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Friday night after the venue had to be temporarily evacuated due to thunderstorms.
But she did get a chance to take the stage later in the night, and she and Taylor performed a duet of White Horse, a Coney Island mashup.
“My incredibly talented, amazing, gorgeous, hilarious, genius opening act Sabrina Carpenter!” Taylor said of the singer, who is rumored to be dating Saltburn’s Barry Keoghan. This is what he said when introducing him.
“She heroically sacrificed her own show and I think this is a crime against Sydney and needs to be fixed!”
