Meghan Markle may have been told by her new publicist not to appear in Prince Harry’s bombshell interview, a royal expert has claimed.
duke of sussex this morning He appeared on Good Morning America, but his wife was not mentioned.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are in Vancouver this week to mark 12 months before Prince Harry’s 2025 Invictus Games.
They have been followed by an ABC camera crew since they landed in Whistler, Vancouver.
Prince Harry told host Will Reeve that he hoped King Charles’ cancer diagnosis would heal the rift in his family, and opened up on his way back to the UK to see his father.
He also opened up about his family life, giving rare insight into Archie and Lilibet’s personalities.
However, her name was not mentioned during the chat, despite the show promising “an all-new interview with Prince Harry about his life with Meghan.”
Royal expert Angela Levin thinks this may have something to do with her new PR firm.
She explained: “It’s interesting. But just as it relates to Harry, I think she has accepted that this is Harry’s Invictus Games.
“But the reality is that she’s always there, being photographed and looking very attractive, and that’s what she cares about.
“I think her publicists didn’t want her to say anything that would change this vision of herself.”
Last year, the Duchess joined WME, which has A-Listers such as Eddie Murphy, Gwen Stefani and Liam Payne. Book.
Levin continued: “They don’t care if Prince Harry gets it wrong. Her PR isn’t actually Prince Harry’s. It’s just Meghan Markle’s.”
“They don’t really care that Harry is wrong and that she wasn’t the one who went to London to meet the King.
“She wants to avoid that, but if they say to her, ‘Meghan, have you changed your mind yet? Do you think it would be fun to go to London?’
“She knows she might give an answer that the publicist doesn’t want to hear.”
Prince Harry flew back to the UK earlier this month after revealing his father had been diagnosed with a type of cancer.
How Charles bravely revealed his diagnosis to help others
King Charles bravely broke royal protocol by announcing his cancer diagnosis.
Senior royals have so far remained quiet about health issues.
The last senior royal to be diagnosed with cancer was Prince Charles’s grandfather, King George VI.
George, a heavy smoker, had his left lung removed due to “structural abnormalities” in September 1951, just months before his death.
The “abnormality” was actually a life-threatening cancer, but the public never learned of George’s cancer ordeal.
Buckingham Palace said Prince Charles wanted to share his cancer diagnosis to increase “public understanding” of cancer patients around the world.
He flew thousands of miles from his home in California to be at the King’s side, but only met his father for 30 minutes.
Speaking on the Today show, Prince Harry said: “I’m so grateful to have been able to get on the plane and meet him (King Charles) and spend every moment with him.”
Asked if the king’s illness would affect family unity, he replied: “Yes, it does.
“Through all these families, I see the strength of family unity every day.
“Families stick together no matter what the illness or disease.”
It comes after Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan were criticized this week for launching a rebranded new website using the royal title and coat of arms amid the monarch’s health crisis.
When the couple stepped back from royal duties four years ago, they were criticized for not consulting the royal family first, even though the Queen had banned them from using the word “SussexRoyal.”
I suspect her publicists didn’t want her to say anything that would change this vision of herself.

The palace has not disclosed the type of cancer, but it is not believed to be prostate cancer.
His Majesty has begun receiving “pioneering” treatment and is said to be expected to return to the capital regularly for treatment.
Prince Charles will undergo further cancer treatment as an outpatient in London this month, but the palace has not yet set a date for his return to front-line duties.
Since 2003, Charles has lived at Clarence House, his official residence in London, which is primarily used for work.
Charles told Harry about his cancer diagnosis in person, in what is understood to have been a warm conversation over the phone.
