Justin Timberlake may finally be ready to set the record straight regarding ex-girlfriend Britney Spears.Sexy Back singer is considering a revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey
Justin Timberlake is considering an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey over the Britney Spears drama.
It comes after Britney hit the headlines in her shocking memoir The Woman In Me, in which the former ‘It’ couple opened up about their ‘tumultuous’ romance. Sexy Back singer Justin is currently considering a revealing chat with Oprah Winfrey, sharing his version of events.
A source told the Daily Mail: “Justin isn’t really happy with how things are going. He was hoping the new music would speak for itself, but clearly that hasn’t happened.”
It’s no wonder Justin is determined to speak out about his version of events. Just last week, the former *NSYNC star made Britney Spears’ fans uncomfortable when he clearly disrespected her during a concert. The 43-year-old was promoting new music at the time.
The source added: “The idea of sitting down and talking with someone like Oprah was floated a few months ago and is now being revisited.” Meanwhile, Britney appears to have slammed her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake after he refused to apologize for his treatment of her during their relationship.
Earlier this month, Britney posted a photo on Instagram of a basketball hoop with a moon shining behind it. “Someone said someone was talking shit about me on the street!!! Do I take it to court or do I go home crying to my mom like last time??? I’m so sorry! !!” she wrote in the caption.
Britney appeared to be referring to comments she made on Justin’s live show, saying there’s no one there to apologize to. During his performance at Irving Plaza, he was filmed telling the crowd, “I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely anyone for any offense I may have caused.”
Fans who attended the show claimed on social media that he made harsh comments before singing his infamous breakup song, “Cry Me a River,” about his relationship with Britney. Britney previously apologized for hurting anyone in her biography, The Woman In Me. She further added, “I would like to apologize for some of the things I wrote in her book.”
“I’m truly sorry if I offended anyone I care deeply about. I also wanted to mention that I love Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish,’ which is such a great song. It was,” he added.
Britney claimed in her memoir that while they were dating, Justin told her he wasn’t ready to be a father and encouraged her to have an abortion. Britney also accused Justin of cheating on her and breaking up with her over text.
