Jay DaSilva says Coventry City need to do better to continue their challenge for the Sky Bet Championship after drawing with Plymouth Argyle at Home Park.
City equalized late in Devon through Liam Kitching, with Mark Robins’ side twice coming from behind.
After the match, Dasilva turned his attention to Saturday, where City will look to turn an away draw into a win against Stoke.

We showed good character tonight in how we drew, but it wasn’t our best performance and we all know that.
We need to improve and get back on Saturday.
We felt comfortable in the first half, so we knew we had to pick things up in the second half, but to be honest, we were below average the whole game.
The big plus was that we didn’t lose. We looked a little flat and a little safe. We weren’t threatening enough and weren’t up to our standards.
We know that Plymouth are strong at home and will create a lot of chances. We talked about it being incorporated into the game.

Jake and I are good friends and understand each other very well. We switched many times and it was good for both of us.
We’re a good group, but we need to step up when we’re missing some guys and we can get better.
