Fox presents interviews with Zelensky and Bret Bayer from the front lines of the war

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy spoke to Fox News anchor Bret Baier this week from the front lines of the country’s ongoing war with Russia.

Bayer’s interview is scheduled to air on FOX’s nightly news show “Special Report” on Thursday and Friday, and will be the first time a Ukrainian leader has been interviewed on the front lines of combat since the war began in 2022. This will be the first time.

“Less than a mile and a half from Russian positions, Mr. Beyer will meet with the president about the second anniversary of the war, Congressional debate on additional funding for Ukraine, and the latest developments in the ongoing conflict.” The network released an interview and said.

“He will also travel with the president as he receives military briefings, presents medals to some troops, and visits wounded soldiers in hospitals,” Fox added.

Mr. Baier’s meeting with Mr. Zelensky comes after the network’s former top-rated host, Tucker Carlson, released an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin in which Mr. Putin promoted propaganda about the war and criticized the conflict. Karlsson has come under widespread criticism from media and political observers for capitulating to President Putin and praising Russia’s infrastructure and economy.

Last fall, Fox chairman Lachlan Murdoch accompanied reporter Benjamin Hall to meet Zelenskiy as his Fox co-correspondent was awarded the National Medal of Merit.

Hall was injured in a 2022 attack that killed Fox cameraman Pierre Zakrzewskiy and local Ukrainian journalist Oleksandra Kuvshinova while covering the war.
