“You cynically cut the video for cheap political gain. The Jewish community is tired of being used as a political football. Stop it.”
Rabbi David Mason, executive director of the Jewish Council for Racial Equality, said the figures released today by the Community Security Trust charity “reveal a significant increase in the actual amount of anti-Semitism affecting the Jewish community.” He emphasized that it shows an “increase.”

I usually have a pretty high bar for dealing with the rough waters of politics, but this is embarrassing. They cut the part where he quickly corrects a very obvious gaffe. https://t.co/9nieqpkz01

This causes the clip to cut off one second before Khan says, “…I’m sorry, but we’re going to address anti-Semitism.” It feels like someone at Conservative party headquarters is reading Zac Goldsmith’s election strategy. https://t.co/ANVbqxUQdC

As mentioned in Rishi’s clip, selective clipping can be just as bad as deepfakes.
You either oppose all of it or none of it. Sadiq has a lot of problems, but this is not true. https://t.co/KkXiQUEXgE— Geoff Norcott (@GeoffNorcott) February 15, 2024
