Her long, wavy blonde hair is unfamiliar, and Gucci sunglasses obscure her look.
As such, fans may have a hard time recognizing Billie Piper from her most recent on-screen role in the Netflix film Scoop.
The actress stars as Sam McAllister, the glamorous Newsnight producer who secured Prince Andrew’s infamous 2019 interview with Emily Maitlis, played by Gillian Anderson, 55.
The new photo shows Piper, 41, holding a takeaway Starbucks coffee while wearing a recreated Zara fur gilet and a leather blouse adorned with a Chanel brooch.
The film details the story behind an interview with the disgraced Duke of York, played by Rufus Sewell, 56.

Ms. McAllister said the “attention to detail” in creating the actress to be her was “unbelievable.”
When she was on set with Piper, the staff could not tell the two women apart.
Essential to this look was her signature blonde curl wig. “They touched my hair and took pictures and made something for Billy,” McAllister said. “I saw it hanging there on set and it died on its own. I did.”
She revealed how her wardrobe team visited her west London home and took some of her clothes with them to buy for Piper or make exact versions.
We found replicas of Ms. McAllister’s super-long black River Island jeans and Topshop animal-print boots, as well as a Zara gilet she bought while waiting to interview Julian Assange 10 years ago. Reproduced.
They also pulled out Tom Ford and Primark lip glosses from Piper’s makeup bag to create just the right color.
Gillian Anderson will play Emily Maitlis in the movie scheduled for release this spring.
The film details the story behind the interview with the disgraced Duke of York, played by Rufus Sewell.
Ms McAllister thanked the former pop star for giving her the right walk. “She practiced it a lot,” Ms. McAllister said. “That was very important to me.”
Photos released by Netflix show the set in west London, where the interview was recreated using a mock-up of Buckingham Palace.
A source said, “The level of detail that went into getting the set right was second to none.” They wanted an exact replica and they delivered. ”
The film will be released this spring and stars Amanda Redman as Mr McAllister’s mother, Netta, and Keeley Hawes as the Prince’s former publicist, Amanda Thirsk.
