Technology fans can get a variety of popular Apple Watches at low prices through Wowcher, while supplies last.
With the weather in Scotland improving for the most part, it may be a good time for people to get outside and feel more motivated to move around, and a good way to measure your fitness progress is with a smart watch, which can track factors such as steps taken, calories burned and heart rate changes.
The Apple Watch can do all this and more, syncing with your iPhone to answer calls, receive text messages and get notifications, but it can cost a pretty penny, with the latest Apple Watch Ultra 2 currently on sale from Apple and John Lewis for a list price of £799.
Now, Wowcher shoppers can pick up the cheapest Apple Watch in stock for just £134, down from the original list price of £249.95. Buyers can choose from refurbished Apple 3, 4, or 5 series watches in white, pink, or black, with slightly different prices.
The sale listing on Wowcher’s website lists the price as £104, which is for a model that is currently sold out. The watches available on the voucher site have been refurbished. This means it has been inspected by experts to ensure it meets functional standards.
Each purchase comes with a non-Apple branded wristband, and buyers can choose different prices for larger Retina screen display sizes of 40 mm, 42 mm, or 44 mm.
Customers can buy an Apple Watch Series 4 with a 40mm screen for £134, or the same series with a 44mm screen for £144. Meanwhile, the Series 5 with a 40mm screen costs £169, and the same series with a 44mm screen costs £179.
In addition to connecting with other Apple devices, Apple Watch is waterproof up to 50 meters and includes a GPS system for accurate activity tracking. An optical heart rate sensor lets you accurately monitor your heart rate, and you can also save music, podcasts, and audiobooks to your watch to enjoy on the go.
Wowcher doesn’t currently offer shopping reviews, but Amazon shoppers have been leaving glowing reviews for their refurbished models.
One 5-star review of the Series 5 says, “The best feature is that it lets me know when someone is ringing my iPhone, even if it’s an older generation iPhone that’s not stuck in my ear. ”.
This week’s technology news
Apple will launch new tablets in UK stores, including the refreshed iPad Air and all-new iPad Pro.
iPad Air boasts a more powerful M2 chip in an aluminum enclosure, more standard storage, new colors, improved connectivity, and longer battery life. For the first time, this tablet will be offered in two sizes: a standard 11-inch display and a much larger 13-inch panel.
If you want to upgrade to professional specs, the 2024 series is a big upgrade with an ultra-thin design, a significantly enhanced and brighter OLED screen, and an M4 processor that’s faster than most PC laptops.
One of the deals that intrigued us came from Sky, which gets you the 11-inch Air with Wi-Fi and Cellular for just £17 a month, with no upfront fees and 100MB of data included. You can find out more about the iPad Air sale on the Sky website here.
The deal is based on a 48-month agreement, with a total cost of £816 over four years. By comparison, the same tablet from Apple costs £749, but that doesn’t include data and requires upfront payment.
Sky is also offering other deals, including the 13-inch Air for £21 a month and the Pro for £27 a month.
As we’ve said before, Sky isn’t the only network offering iPads on contract, with Vodafone and EE also giving customers the option to buy these devices on a monthly plan.

The four-star review said, “The watch itself works perfectly, never breaks or has any glitches, and the screen is incredibly smooth and bright.”
“My only complaint is the battery life. Mine was shipped at 75% capacity even though they were guaranteed a minimum of 80% capacity. It’s not a big issue, but it was shipped at a lower capacity. I don’t like it when people come to me.”
“It was a good buy. I’m disappointed with the battery, but if you can get around that, I’d recommend taking a chance.”
However, another customer couldn’t ignore what he felt was the short battery life, writing in a 2-star review: It lasts for a few hours and then turns off automatically.
“When I charge it, it starts working again after about 5 minutes and says the battery is full. But then it only works for a few hours. I’d like to return it.”
If you’re not an iPhone user, there are plenty of smart watches that can sync with your Android device. These include the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 BT with Bixby, which is on sale for £219 at Currys. For those who want to prioritize fitness, the Fitbit Charge 6 fitness tracker is on sale at Argos for £139.
