According to the Express, Planet Cruise experts did their homework to find the safest places around the world for holidaymakers, taking into account factors such as the place’s hospitality and hotel rates. And the winner for safest holiday spot? Tokyo!
Japan’s vibrant capital is not only incredibly safe, but also brimming with things to see and do. Ueno Park is a must-visit place in Tokyo, especially if you want to soak up the beauty of the city’s iconic cherry blossoms. “We visited during cherry blossom season and it was a truly beautiful place. I wish we’d seen more pink cherry blossoms!” raved one traveller on TripAdvisor.
Selva also shared her experience: “I was lucky enough to visit Ueno Park during cherry blossom season. There is a large, beautiful cherry blossom tree at the entrance to the park.” The British government has provided advice for traveling to Japan, stressing that “crime rates are low across Japan, but you should still maintain the same level of vigilance and take sensible precautions as you would in your own country.”
