“The hottest football fan in the world” Ivana Noor has revealed her heartbreak after England star Jack Grealish was left out of the Euros squad.
The Croatian model, who is now single at 26, has been making waves at the 2022 Qatar World Cup and is currently in Berlin getting ready to cheer on her beloved team during the tournament.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, she said it was disappointing not to have the England midfielder on the pitch this year but that not having Grealish in the team gave Croatia a huge advantage.
She joked: “It’s a shame England didn’t pick their best team, but as a Croatia fan I’m happy.”
“With Mphabe out and other key players out, our chances are bigger.”
Ivana won the hearts of football fans in Qatar by wearing a red-and-white checked outfit, but even risked arrest under the conservative country’s strict rules.
The 5ft 9in model has risen to stardom by rocking a different look for each match, wearing dresses, catsuits and ensembles at the stadium and wowing the crowd.
But she revealed to Sun readers that her outfit for the Euros in Germany in 2024 will be bolder than ever before.
The stunning brunette remained tight-lipped about what exactly she will be wearing for the match against Croatia during the group stage, but described the look as “different” to what we’ve seen so far.
“I’ve got some outfits that are a little bit quirky,” the model and budding DJ said.
“I love fashion and I like to dress up when I go to a game. I think it’s going to be so much fun I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
Ivana recently revealed that she is single as she prepares to compete at the Euros after splitting with her boyfriend.
She confirmed the news to Germany’s Bild newspaper before the tournament, but it came as a blow to men hoping to try their luck.
“I had a boyfriend of 10 years. We broke up last year. I’m single now but I’m not looking for a new man at the moment,” Noor said.
Despite the stiff competition, the Mediterranean beauty has high hopes that Croatia can win the tournament after a strong start to the 2024 season.
The team, featuring star midfielder Luka Modric, heads into the Euros on the back of three straight wins, including a win and a draw against Portugal.
They have performed well in football tournaments over the past decade, reaching the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup and coming second in the Russia World Cup, so they are a strong contender for the title.
She said: “Of course I want Croatia to win. I’m rooting for Germany because I was born and raised here. I think France are one of the strongest teams. It’s a shame they lost, but they’re a great team.”
When asked which English player she is paying attention to in this tournament, Ivana said she is keeping an eye on Harry Kane, England’s top goal scorer.
She added: “I think England has a great chance too.”
World Cup fame
Speaking about the reaction to her appearance at the Qatar World Cup, Ivana told The Sun: “Qatar was a crazy experience. I never thought something like that would happen.”
“When things settled down and I realised what had happened, it was something I’ll never forget.
“Everything has been great. The success of my country and what I have achieved in Qatar has helped many women who will follow in my footsteps. I am happy with everything that has happened.”
Despite her glamorous looks and doubts about her soccer knowledge, Ivana says she has always been an avid soccer fan.
She said: “I played in the World Cup in Brazil in 2014 before I was even 18. I wanted to go so badly I fought with my dad but I managed to go.”
“The love of sports has always been in me. I played goalkeeper for three years when I was younger. I wasn’t that good but it was fun.”
“I’ve always been involved with sports and am a huge sports fan.”
Ivana said she had attended the past three World Cup tournaments, even though her family was not as keen on soccer as she was.
Since her success at the Qatar World Cup, she’s mingled with A-listers like Jamie Foxx and Drake, and even attended a party hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio.
She was recently spotted at the Canadian Formula One Grand Prix and has also made appearances at other big sporting events, including an NBA basketball game and a boxing match at the O2 Arena.
She also travels the world as a DJ performing for large audiences, and just flew from Montreal to Berlin ahead of the first match.
Despite her newfound fame, the model says she will never start an OnlyFans page, claiming that fans are scheming to get her to sign up.
She revealed that her risqué Instagram posts had been “reported”, suggesting her followers may be campaigning for the photo ban in an attempt to force her to move to an adult content platform.
She posted on Instagram: “Hey guys, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but Instagram reports everything I post.
“There’s people behind me trying to get me to sign up for OnlyFans, but I’m telling you, I’m never going to start OnlyFans, so damn it.”
Croatia begin their fight for glory this evening in Berlin against Spain, while Germany beat Scotland 5-1 in their opening game of the tournament.
England’s first match is against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen on Sunday.
At least 40,000 England fans are expected to attend the first wave of the tournament this weekend to support Gareth Southgate’s side.
But there are fears that a 500-strong contingent of “violent Serbian hooligans” could descend on the highly-anticipated match.
The opening game between the two teams has already been labelled a “high risk” match by German police, with an extra 1,300 officers being deployed on match day and surveillance being significantly stepped up.
Ivana’s rise to fame
Croatian model Ivana Noor (26) has been attracting attention at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, dazzling fans with her daring outfits and risking arrest.
She defied authorities in Qatar, a conservative country with strict rules about how women dress, and won the hearts of football fans around the world with her risqué performances.
Wrapped in her country’s flag, Ivana made a bold statement in a red and white checked design as Croatia took an impressive third place in the competition.
A football fanatic, Ivana had previously attended the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and the 2018 World Cup in Russia, but it was in Qatar that she rocketed to stardom.
Since 2022, Ivana has been making headlines around the world, appearing at lavish events alongside numerous celebrities, including Jamie Foxx, F1 star Fernando Alonso and Drake.
She’s attended parties hosted by none other than Leonardo DiCaprio and now DJs at some of the world’s best venues.
Born in Frankfurt, Germany to Croatian parents, the model played football as a goalkeeper and later handball in his youth.
Serbian extremist groups such as the Headhunters and Gravediggers are some of the most feared football fan groups in Europe.
The Sun reported that in a bid to prevent violence, England supporters will be banned from drinking strong lager at the opening match and will be served German shandies instead.
England fans have been looking forward to sipping on 4.8% alcohol content Bitburger Premium in stadium bars, but the beer will now be replaced by a much weaker alternative.
