The world’s largest tiger unleashes its fire on Russian people and their pets, killing villagers and leaving a trail of blood in the snow.
A man and his dog have been mauled to death by the same tiger in Russia’s Far East in a series of bloody clashes that left people fearing for their lives.
The Amur tiger, the world’s largest big cat, has been caught on astonishing surveillance footage roaming around and repeatedly attacking guard dogs.
The latest brutality comes after Russian President Vladimir Putin pioneered the rehabilitation of Amur tigers in their natural habitat in eastern Russia.
Amur tigers remain endangered, but their numbers have increased rapidly since President Putin began his election campaign.
It is estimated that there are currently more than 750 of them in the wild, and many of them have invaded Russian towns and villages, roaming residential streets and attacking residents.

Some believe that conflicts between tigers and humans may be a result of urban sprawl, as tigers are unable to find their usual prey.
Zoologist Sergei Kolchin spoke to Russia’s environmental news agency Kedor about his views on the alarming situation.
He said, “In my opinion, [increased tiger attacks are] It is associated with the destruction of predator habitat through logging and overhunting. [the tiger’s prey] African swine fever then decimated the remaining wild boar population. ”
A 2018 report by the World Wildlife Fund cited similar reasons for the tiger-human conflict in the Russian Far East, stating that “forest erosion and fragmentation are reducing tiger habitat;
In addition to prey food, tigers begin to look for alternative food (e.g.
livestock) in or near human settlements. ”
Hunting by humans also has some effect on reducing tiger prey populations, WWF writes.
In December, a man named Victor S. was attacked and killed by the same beast that had eaten his dog moments before.
Viktor’s wife said that at the time of the attack, Viktor “went to the village of Ober in the Khabarovsk region to look for the place where the dog was killed.”
A gruesome bloodstain in the snow was one of the only traces of him left after the brutal massacre.
The Amur Tiger Center, a Russian Amur tiger conservation organization founded at the initiative of President Vladimir Putin, said in a statement: “We would like to express our sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased.”

Guard dogs are being killed in large numbers at border posts and homes in various regions of eastern Russia.
Just last weekend, one dog was killed in the village of Kutuzovka, south of Khabarovsk, and another was eaten about 40 kilometers away.
But humanity is also at serious risk.
Fisherman Sergei Kyarunjuga, 19, was seriously injured last year when a wild tiger jumped out of the window of his remote house in eastern Russia and attacked him.
The animal was hungry and emaciated, so it jumped, breaking the glass and grabbing the boy.
Sergei’s cousin was also present and shot the animal.
A 26-year-old woman narrowly survived being attacked by the same type of cat last year with “severe lacerations” to her shoulder and arms.
While on a holiday trip, I was hiding in the bushes to go “to the bathroom” when an animal jumped at me. Her husband drove his truck into the animal, saving her life.
Some were not so lucky.
Recently, the body of a man was found 160 miles from where he went missing.
There were clear signs that the animal had been attacked and eaten by a tiger.
