Kyren Wilson opened up a 14-10 lead over David Gilbert in a dominant third session at the Crucible, moving him three frames from reaching his second World Snooker Championship final.
No. 12 seed Wilson, who lost 18-8 to Ronnie O’Sullivan in the 2020 final, pulled away from Gilbert on Friday after the pair started 8-8, winning six of eight frames, including five straight from nine. won the frame. They scored 9 points because their opponents missed their chances.
