Children across the county dressed up as their favorite book characters
World Book Day will be held again in 2024, with children across Yorkshire dressing up as characters from their favorite books.
Celebrated across the country since the late 1990s, World Book Day aims to celebrate and encourage children to read. Every year, thousands of children celebrate by dressing up as characters from their favorite books.
World Book Day also raises funds for charities that promote reading, especially among people from disadvantaged backgrounds. From Cinderella and Willy Wonka to Spider-Man and Addams, there are some great costumes this year.
With so many great outfits to choose from, here are some of the best outfits for World Book Day this year.
