As many of our readers with children know, World Book Day is just around the corner, and the big day will be held this Thursday, March 7th.
This year’s theme is ‘Read your Way’ and at RNIB Cymru we fully embrace that philosophy. No matter how your kids want to enjoy free books this year, we’re set to make sure they do by offering free books in a variety of accessible formats.
Thirteen books available, ranging from beginner-friendly ones like David McKee’s Elmer and the Patchwork Tales to stories for older readers like Jennifer Killick’s Dread Wood: Creepy Creations is.
There is also a special book for Welsh readers, ‘Ffeithiau Ffiaidd y Corff’. This book is full of amazingly gory facts about the human body.
To enable children in Wales to participate regardless of their vision level, all 13 books are available in Braille, large print and audiobook formats to help visually impaired children read in their own way. We offer books.
