After five attempts, Wild Tan was finally crowned the world’s ugliest dog.
The 8-year-old Pekingese was entered in the “World’s Ugliest Dog” competition at the 2024 Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California.
He was up against seven candidates, most of whom were dogs who had been rescued from shelters before finding their forever families.
Wild Son and his owner, Ann Lewis, will receive $5,000 and will appear on NBC’s Today Show.
Roma, a 14-year-old pug in a wheelchair, won second place and $3,000 in prize money in his first competition.
