St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival

To celebrate the enduring strength of the British-Irish relationship, London will be transformed into the green pastures of the Leprechaun’s Shamrock. Held in Trafalgar Square, the festival features the best of Ireland’s art, culture, food and music, including the annual spectacular parade. More than 50,000 people are expected to take part in the annual Irish marching band, dance troupe and extravagant parade. The parade begins at Hyde Park Corner and continues through Piccadilly, St. James Street, Pall Mall, Cockspur Street and Whitehall. It then concludes with concerts, films, performances by local choirs, schools and dance groups, and a singalong finale in Trafalgar Square.
