The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced that the department is implementing digital transformation through the creation of a smart tourism ecosystem, a strategic measure aimed at improving national management and the overall tourism experience. They announced that they are actively promoting this.
According to Vietnam News Agency (VNA), the main components of this ecosystem include platforms such as the Vietnam Travel Management and Business System, the Vietnam Travel App, smart tourist cards, and especially the electronic ticketing system.
Recently, Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts collaborated with VNAT’s Tourism Information Technology Center to launch an electronic ticketing system. This eliminates the need for visitors to queue at counters to purchase tickets and provides a streamlined experience with a variety of user-friendly self-check-in options.
Previously, this system was installed at the Temple of Literature, the former Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace, and Quang Thanh Temple.
