Professor Judith Squires, the University’s Vice-Chancellor and Dean, said: “It is fantastic that the University of Bristol has once again been named the best university in the world in QS’s prestigious rankings. Our fantastic students and staff shine in this category of universities with the most incredible talent. I would like to thank everyone at the University of Bristol who has made this result possible.”
UoB also scores highly in other areas when compared to other UK universities: UoB ranks fourth in “sustainability”, fifth in “citations per faculty member” (a measure of research output) and ninth in “academic reputation”, based on the opinions of academic colleagues from around the world.
