Rosemont, IL: Former Ulta Beauty communications director Eileen Siesemer has joined water treatment company Culligan International as vice president of global PR and partnerships.
In a post on LinkedIn, Ziesemer said he was inspired by Carrigan’s “bold purpose, inclusive culture, and authentic values.”
“I’m excited to further shape our story and expand the many ways we impact people’s lives and protect our planet,” she said. Ziesemer, who started her position this month, could not be reached for further comment.
Last summer, Ms. Siesemer resigned from her position as Ulta Beauty’s vice president of public relations, a position she held for three and a half years. When she retired, the rest of her PR team at Ulta shared her responsibilities.
“I was rushing to breathe, reflect, focus on my health, and be with my family,” Giesemer said in a LinkedIn post at the time.
Ms. Siesemer joined Ulta Beauty as director of communications in March 2020, just four days after retail stores closed due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. She was the first head of the public relations department.
Mr. Siesemer was previously head of MSL’s U.S. consumer practice. She joined Publicis Groupe in 2013 as vice president and was promoted to consumer director in Chicago, her last role with the company in 2018.
Siesemer was also a 2019 PRWeek 40 Under 40 honoree.
Founded in 1936, Culligan manufactures water treatment products, including water softeners, drinking water systems, whole-home systems, and services for businesses. Culligan’s portfolio includes brands and innovative technologies such as Waterlogic, Quench, Bluepla, Zipwater, Purezza Premium Water, Zero Water and Firewall UVC Purification, according to the statement. Culligan serves more than 140 million consumers each year at home, work or on the go. The company is majority owned by an investment fund affiliated with BDT & MSD Partners.
