Authorities reportedly closed all lines in the area during the emergency response. The authority reported that trains running between London and Stevenage would be “suspended, significantly delayed by up to 60 minutes, redirected or diverted via Hertford North”. Significant disruption is likely to affect train services in the area until at least 20:30. However, authorities may change this time at short notice.
