Steve Wright has passed away at the age of 69.

London’s emergency services say broadcasting legend Steve Wright was found dead at his home after paramedics were called to an “incident”.
The DJ was found in his Marylebone apartment on Monday morning and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the 69-year-old’s “unexpected” death is not being treated as suspicious.
London Ambulance Service said in a statement on Wednesday: “We were called to reports of an incident at 10:07am on Monday, February 12.
“We sent numerous resources to the scene. Very unfortunately, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
A report is being prepared for the coroner.

Mr Wright has been broadcasting on BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2 for 40 years, most recently with a pre-recorded Valentine’s Day special on Sunday.
Radio hosts paid him warm tributes from across the airwaves.
James O’Brien said that for many he was the essence of “creative radio” and that if he praised the work of other presenters it was like receiving a “pope’s blessing”. .
“What he did on the radio was extraordinary,” he said.
“What Kenny Everett did in the early days of Capital and then at Radio 1 pushed the boundaries.
“Steve Wright took an envelope and used origami to turn it into a beautiful flower.
“I think he really liked it. It’s a bit of a partridge-like depiction.”

Ian Dale said Mr Wright called him recently and told him he had done a “fantastic programme”.
“As you might expect given Steve Wright’s broadcasting heritage, [it] It meant a lot to me. ”
She added, “He was a really, really nice guy…I wasn’t an old friend, but he made me feel like one.”
Wright’s family announced his death on Tuesday.
“It is with deep sadness and deep regret that we announce the passing of our beloved Steve Wright,” they said.
“As well as his son Tom and daughter Lucy, Steve leaves behind his brother Lawrence and father Richard.
“Also to my dear dear friends, colleagues and to the millions of loyal radio listeners who have had the good fortune and great pleasure of having Steve in their daily lives as one of Britain’s longest-running and most popular radio personalities. .
“As we all grieve, the family requests privacy at this extremely difficult time.”
