According to U.S. News & World Report, an estimated 80% of people give up on their New Year’s resolutions by mid-February.
While determination can sometimes be a spark, we view our health and fitness journey as a lifelong commitment to ourselves. Fitness Point staff aim to help you keep that promise, not just when the new calendar replaces the old one, but throughout the year and year after year.
Our staff of personal trainers, class instructors, and physical therapists have one goal in mind: Our mission is to help you become healthier, stronger and more energetic, no matter your fitness level or health obstacle. Our medically based health facility supports you with full-service memberships, personal training, land and water group classes, physical therapy and rehabilitation, and the expertise of our qualified staff. We offer a variety of fitness programs and services to help you.

Celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2023, our newly renovated facilities feature state-of-the-art fitness equipment, exercise equipment, indoor and outdoor walking/running tracks, saunas, steam rooms, and other amenities.
We offer physical therapy services in our heated lap pool, which uses water as resistance to strengthen your muscles. This comfortable, almost weightless environment is especially helpful for people with leg or lower back pain.
We also offer group fitness programs for people with Parkinson’s disease. This includes nationally licensed Rock Steady Boxing. This class incorporates boxing training activities into his intense fitness routine, which has been proven to reduce the severity of tremors, improve balance, and slow the progression of other symptoms.
Rock Steady Boxing coaches coach boxers through a variety of drills and exercises to improve strength, balance, and flexibility, combining friendly encouragement with a little competitive intensity. He offers four classes of levels depending on the participant’s symptoms, including reduced sense of balance, unsteady gait, muscle stiffness, cognitive impairment, etc.
If you’re looking for a one-on-one experience to get you on the right path, our personal trainers will be with you every step of the way. They encourage and invest in your health, gaining experience and developing a fitness plan for each client based on their fitness level, goals, and schedule.
Fitness Point is also home to Pilates Point, which offers personal Pilates training using the Pilates Allegro Reformer for individual, partner and small group training. This exercise works from the “center” of the body, developing long, lean, flexible muscle tissue, while integrating the mind and breath to create a balanced body.
