Tina Fey endorsed words of wisdom for Bowen Yang on podcast Las Culturistas, as part of the show’s long-running segment, “I Don’t Think So, Honey,” which he co-hosts with Matt Rogers. This segment, featured at the end of each episode, gives Yang, Rogers, and a number of guests his 60 seconds to rant about aspects of life or culture that frustrate them.

“I don’t think so, honey, Bowen Yang gives his real opinion about movies on this podcast. Unfortunately, you’ve become too famous,” Fey said.
Yang and Rodgers often share their opinions on movies, albums, and artists on their pop culture podcasts, but Fey was specifically referring to an opinion Yang asserted on a Jan. 10 episode discussing Academy Award nominees. It seems so. During the episode, Yang said he was looking forward to seeing what director and writer Emerald Fennell did next, but halfway through he also said he was “boring.” salt burn He also pointed out inconsistencies with the chronology and with some of the film’s plot points.
“You have a problem salt burn? Shhh. It’s a quiet luxury,” Fay said. “Keep that to yourself, because what are you going to do when Emerald Fennell calls you about her next project, where you play Carey Mulligan’s colleague in the bridal section of Harrods?” But then it gets sexually violent in the third act and you have to pretend to be surprised by it. Fey also mentioned Ayo Edebiri, who made fun of Jennifer Lopez’s career and called her a “fraud” on his podcast years ago, and jokingly referred to those comments while hosting. SNL Lopez appeared as a musical guest last weekend.
“Learn from my mistakes. Learn from Ayo. Podcasts are forever,” Fey said.
