I MAC Velvet Teddy Girl I’ve been using the same lipstick almost every day for the past seven years. But I sometimes have a crush on Charlotte and her Tilbury pillow talk. But how does her new shade fare? Also, is it possible we’ll have to ditch our faithful MAC formula for new CT innovations?
from her latest collectionwhat attracted me most was her globally beloved soft satin finish and pretty pink hue. kiss formula Over Matte Revolution Red. However, I was finding it difficult to find a pink that suited me. I once found a great L’Oreal lipstick, but it was discontinued and I haven’t found anything close to it since.
“Why can’t I find the right shade of red for me?” “Why can’t I find the right pink for me?” are the questions Charlotte Tilbury always asks in the makeup chair, and the reason is that “so many “People are choosing shades that don’t match their skin tone, making their complexion look dull, flat, or ashy,” she says.
I decided to use the new shade match tool on Charlotte Tilbury’s website to see if I could achieve my perfect pink. This is very quick and easy, just answer multiple choice questions about your skin tone, hair and eye color, and the makeup you usually wear.
Within 60 seconds, I received recommendations for a variety of Charlotte Tilbury products, from shadow palettes to eyebrow pencils to lipsticks in every color category. In pink, 4 out of 5 for the new kiss formula The ones recommended to me were Icon Baby, 90s Pink, Candy Chic, and Red Carpet Pink. So Rose To Fame might not be for me.
I tried each of the four recommended colors. Icon baby inspired by Kate Moss That was what I loved the most. Moss, who recently celebrated her 50th birthday, is considered Charlotte Tilbury’s original beauty muse, inspiring the likes of Nude Kate, Pillow Talk and Rocket Girl lipstick. Her brand new lipstick is said to be a supermodel’s “dream pink.”

Eve Rowlands loves Hollywood Beauty Icon’s Lipstick Matte Revolution – Hollywood Vixen
I’ve been trying to be girly by wearing pink or nude lipstick, but sadly, apart from Charlotte Tilbury’s iconic and globally revered Pillow Talk, it just doesn’t work for me. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not for me. The fact that my skin tone, hair color, and style don’t suit my skin tone, hair color, or style is obvious when I use Charlotte’s new Shade Match tool on her Tilbury website to help you find the perfect lipstick shade. I was convinced.
Within seconds of completing a short quiz, I was presented with a selection of colors that best matched my look and recommended my two favorites from Charlotte’s new lipstick collection. And to my surprise…it was bright red. There were some pinks thrown in there (e.g. KISSING’s Icon Baby, Candy Chic, 90’s pink, etc.) but they didn’t do much for me. Candy Chic was a contender, as was Rose to Fame…but wearing pink (on the lips) is a little foreign to me, so I wanted to make sure I could regularly sport enough of the shade that I “loved” it. You have to put effort into it. I’m a red-lipped gal at heart. My favorite accessory is to add some accent to an outfit.
To my eyes, the brighter the better and the more matte it is. That’s why I fell in love with Charlotte Tilbury’s new Matte Revolution Red at first sight. They each come in gorgeous shades of orange, brown, and blue. It has a silky smooth, buttery feel and instantly brightens eyes and skin with dreamy, vibrant color.
While the brand’s new colors Merry-Go-Round’s Fame Flame and Mark of Ax are gorgeous (the former is a paprika red and very femme fatale, the latter a softer, more muted brown red), my favorite was clear: Hollywood Vixen – I mean, who doesn’t want to look red carpet ready?
A prominent MUA quotes the Hollywood vixen as follows: “Made with my award-winning Matte Revolution formula, this nuanced bright red lipstick is infused with 3D-effect red pigment to accentuate the contours of your lips in just one swipe.” Pair seamlessly with Lip Cheat in Red Carpet Red for a neat, perfect pout.
With just minimal eye makeup, this lipstick instantly made me feel glamorous, maybe a little vain, but a little radiant. Once dry, I didn’t have to reapply and it didn’t smudge or smudge my lip line, even after hours of application. Plus, it felt comfortable and quite moisturizing, thanks to the (aptly named) lipstick tree extract. Wearing lipstick all day can leave your lips a little dry and in need of some TLC, especially in the winter. So when I took this lipstick off, I was happy when my lips felt silky smooth.
I can definitely see this becoming my go-to lipstick when I’m looking for a confidence boost or just want a little pop of color. Priced at £27, the durability and gorgeous colors make it worth it and I’ll be using it for every occasion.
For days when you want a lighter, less impactful lip, wear Rose to Fame or Candy Chic to ease into the days of pink-tinged lips…
Jada Jones loves kissing Hollywood beauty icon at Rose to Fame
Generally I avoid pink lipstick. I often feel like I look stupid, like a kid playing dress up because I can’t use the shade properly. Often times, I don’t want to do anything because the colors are too pale or too neon. So what about when I saw the new KISSING formula shade from Charlotte Tilbury, which came in five varieties of his, all pink? I was optimistic, but I still couldn’t get my hands on Pillow Talk on lipstick day. I felt that it would grow.
I first tried the 90’s pink and seriously thought this was going to be my favorite until I wore Rose to Fame. My first reaction was that it was too dark and I didn’t like it, but the more I looked at it, the more I realized that it fixed what pink lipstick actually was.
It’s definitely the darkest in this range and has an almost nude undertone to it, so I think that’s why I liked it so much. I often stopped using pink lipstick because it wasn’t too bright. I love this formula, it goes on like butter and feels like a lip balm day and night.
With a red that has a matte formula instead, it was hard to pick a favorite. Mark of a Kiss is a muted red lipstick that is easy to wear every day. It lasted incredibly long and didn’t budge for hours until I sat down to drink pho with a friend. Even after that, the lipstick did not disappear. Cheat was unfazed.
Pizzazz is probably my favorite among the reds. I think it’s a bright blue-red color that makes it easy to make a statement. Isn’t that the whole point when you’re wearing a bold red lip?
