Thames have planned the Born in the Wild World tour to support their long-awaited debut album.
In addition to the tour dates, which is her first world tour, the Nigerian singer also revealed something about herself. born in the wild The cover art and release date of June 7th have been confirmed. The LP was originally scheduled for release in May, but will now be released a few weeks later.
Thames will begin their world tour in Europe in June before arriving in North America in Miami on August 22nd. She then wraps her North American leg around the United States (with three Canadian dates interspersed) before concluding her North American leg in Los Angeles on October 1st. From there, she will cross the Pacific and perform three shows in Australia.
born in the wild The album comes six years after Thames bowed out with his 2018 debut single “Mr. Rebel.” Since then, she has seen remarkable growth with her own hit songs like 2020’s “Damages” and 2022’s “Free Mind,” and even made a star out of Wizkid’s 2021 hit “Essence.” 2022’s ‘Wait for U’ with Future and Drake, co-writing Rihanna’s ‘Lift Me Up’, plus her own EP for a broken ear and If orange was a place. Last year, Thames released two new singles: “Me & U” and “Not an Angel.”
Earlier this month, Thames shared Born in the Wild’s latest single, “Love Me Jeje.” With a month left until the album’s release, Thames has yet to release the full tracklist.
