Lockie Ferguson bowled an incredible three wickets and no runs as New Zealand finished their T20 World Cup campaign with a convincing win over Papua New Guinea.
Fast bowler Ferguson took the wicket of Asad Vala (6) with his first ball and returned to dismiss Charles Amini (17) and Chad Soper (1) in the fourth no-over innings.
Tim Southey (2-11), Trent Boult (2-14) and Ish Sodhi (2-29) took two wickets apiece as Papua New Guinea, batting first, were eventually bowled out for 78.
Fighting back, Finn Allen was out off the second ball but opening partner Devon Conway (35), along with captain Kane Williamson (18) and Daryl Mitchell (19), ensured New Zealand a comfortable seven-wicket win with 7.4 overs to spare.
It means the Black Caps at least finish the tournament on a positive note, having been doomed by defeat in their first two group matches to Afghanistan and the West Indies.
Meanwhile, Papua New Guinea finished the World Cup with a disappointing record of four losses from four matches.
