British Land and Australian Super have submitted a planning application to Southwark Council for a new workspace and cultural hub at the Canada Water development in London.
The new Canadian Aquaculture Hub will offer flexible and diverse services and will be divided into four main spaces.
The four key spaces include:
- Press hole: The Press Hall will be a unique, flexible space to host events including live music, concerts, immersive art, corporate recruitment, and more.
- Rooftop box: A brand new space for leisure and cultural events. It will be a unique space for exhibitions, product launches, awards, conferences, dinner events and more.
- Meeting space: There are 11 meeting suites of various sizes, a conference room, a bar/café area, and a shared observation deck for meetings, entertainment, and hospitality.
- Inkwells: Inkwells may host events such as immersive exhibits, art shows, and support rooms for music events.
Upgrading old Printworks building to modern energy efficient standards
The proposal reflects the industrial heritage of the existing building by preserving the landmark Printworks building and bringing it up to modern design and energy efficient standards, creating a world-renowned and sustainable building. It is intended to produce.
