Riyadh — Sports Boulevard Foundation, in collaboration with global technology leaders, has launched RIYDE, an innovative cycling experience designed to improve fitness levels across Riyadh.
Developed by Sports Boulevard, this immersive cycling platform leverages state-of-the-art technology to deliver virtual cycling adventures, where users traverse digital routes and ride inside immersive cycling booths equipped with top-class hardware. RIYDE is part of a wider effort to build 220km of cycle paths under the Sports Boulevard project, which aims to promote cycling and sports culture in the capital during the Sports Boulevard construction phase.

The introduction of RIYDE is in line with the Foundation’s aim to provide accessible cycling facilities and encourage participation in sport while the city-wide infrastructure of Sports Boulevard is under construction.

The Sports Boulevard, launched by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on March 19, 2019, is one of Riyadh’s ambitious mega-projects.
The project, supported by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, will connect Wadi Hanifa and Wadi Al Sulai over 135km through a network of safe green corridors for pedestrians, cyclists, athletes and horse riders. This is a project that spans a wide range of areas.
With over 4.4 million square meters of green areas, open spaces and up to 50 multidisciplinary sports facilities, it is an important step towards transforming Riyadh into a hub for sports and healthy living.
