Sam Matterface and Ian Stirling said: “I don’t know if you noticed it – I certainly didn’t – but when Jill Scott missed her chance, some pretty industrial words might have come out of her mouth. [to score]If so, I sincerely apologize!”

Speaking of the announcement, not everyone is happy.

Soccer Aid seem to think that £1, £2, £3 doesn’t mean anything to them. Starting the advert asking for donations at £40, £30, £20 etc is way out of touch with reality. #donatewhatyoucan.”
