As a beauty editor, I’m lucky enough to receive makeup products sent to me, but nothing excites me more than when a new foundation lands on my desk. And from the moment I tried it, Shiseido’s latest face base became my favorite.
Shiseido Revitalescence Skin Glow Foundation Launched late last year, it quickly became one of the most talked about foundations of 2023, with no shortage of influencers, MUAs, and beauty editors raving about it on social media. I instantly fell in love with the name (I always choose Radiant over matte foundation finishes) and I love Shiseido skincare. It’s packed with a lot of features.

By the way, I have combination skin, and my T-zone is shiny, but my cheekbones and eye area are patchy. I also have age spots (or scars after spots) around my chin and redness around my nose that I would like to cover. I want light, natural coverage, but I need more than that. skin tone. But after using Shiseido Revitalescence for about a month, I honestly couldn’t be more hooked on it. It has a very elegant formula and is truly beautiful. I really look forward to seeing my skin in the mirror when I put it on, and I look forward to applying it every morning.
Shiseido Revitalescence Glow Foundation
Coverage is light to moderate and lasts well during a normal work day. Concealer should always be applied over stubborn blemishes. If you’re going out at night, you’ll probably choose something a little more substantial, such as: Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s beautiful skin foundation.
Skin Glow comes in 28 different colors, but finding the one that suits you can be a challenge. There aren’t many Shiseido counters in the UK, and the brand’s website doesn’t even have a handy ‘find foundation’ tool (you can do a virtual try-on, but it’s not very accurate). If it helps, I have Birch in shade 210, but you could probably go one shade higher.
Another big drawback is the price. Priced at £49, it’s one of the most expensive foundations on the market, but one bottle of foundation will last you about a year, so I would definitely buy this again.
