SAMSUNG has ended support for four of its devices. This means you will no longer receive important software and security updates.
Customers are being urged to check their Samsung phones and tablets to see if their models will no longer receive updates.
Every month, Samsung releases security patches for dozens of Android vulnerabilities specific to Galaxy devices.
Each update typically fixes dozens of security holes.
Most Samsung devices receive at least four years’ worth of updates for new features and five years’ worth of security patches for discovered bugs.
However, in 2021, the Korean telco decided to shorten this to three years of updates and four security patches.
Without such updates, your phone can become an easy target for hackers and cybercriminals.
Devices sold after 2019 are starting to be discontinued from Samsung support.

- Galaxy A51
- Galaxy Tab S6 5G
- Galaxy W20 5G
