What you need to know
- Gadgets & Wearables has spotted an official render of the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 on one of its “regional websites.”
- The leak showed information about the Fit 3’s color, band color, dimensions, sensor, sport mode, and more.
- Analysts expect Galaxy Fit 3 to be released in the first half of 2024.
One of Samsung’s international websites has taken the plunge and shown off the official renders of the Galaxy Fit 3 fitness tracker. Aside from revealing new details about the Fit 3, this official leak gives us hope that we won’t have to wait that long.
Gadgets and Wearables discovered the image but did not share the link. The link may or may not have been removed. However, the official images look authentic and match previously leaked renders posted by Windows Report.
The renders show the Fit 3’s sport band made of silicone with orange or dark green color options, along with a silver aluminum case. The rendering shows a “band quick release button” in case you want to buy more and replace the band, as well as his one right button for menu controls.
The Fit 3’s AMOLED display is significantly wider than the 1.1-inch Fit 2 display (pictured above), measuring in at a rumored 1.61 inches. Additionally, two new sensor spots can be seen above the main optical heart rate sensor on the back, suggesting new tracking data compared to the HR-only Fit 2.
Gadgets & Wearables also claims a weight of 21.39 grams, but you have to assume that this number only takes into account the body, not the band. For comparison, the 1.04-inch Fitbit Charge 6 Pebble weighs 15g, twice as much with the band attached.
Previous Galaxy Fit 3 certifications suggested that the Fit 3 would come with a 200mAh battery, adding 41mAh of capacity compared to the Fit 2 with 15 days of usage. Currently, the gadget and wearable industry claims that the Fit 3 will last three weeks on a single charge, which would dwarf most batteries. The best fitness tracker on the market.usually just One The week is considered respectable.
Finally, Samsung showed off a photo of the Galaxy Fit 3 with sports modes: walking, running, biking, and track running. I’m curious if the Fit 3 will have built-in GPS to track these activities, or if it will rely on the GPS connected to your phone.
Multiple sources claimed last year that Samsung would launch the Galaxy Fit 3 in the first half of 2024. This leak of the Galaxy Fit 3 may not conclusively prove that it’s coming any time soon, but we can certainly expect it to arrive soon. Samsung will want to make sure its launch doesn’t interfere with the launch of the Galaxy Watch 7 this summer or the Galaxy Ring later this year.
With the arrival of the Galaxy Fit 3, it should be the beginning of a very promising year for Samsung in terms of fitness. New Galaxy AI technology could help Galaxy Fit 3 provide better sleep recommendations and activity data than ever before.
