Royal London has appointed two senior conservation managers.
These appointments include Fiona Wynne, who joins as Head of Safeguarding Proposals, and Mark Preston, who takes over as Service Delivery Manager with responsibility for large-scale cases.
Carrie Johnson, Director of Conservation at Royal London, said: They are both well known and highly regarded in the conservation industry. ”
Wynn previously served as product director for Legal and General’s retail protection division.
Royal London said this brings him a strong background in end-to-end proposition development and customer engagement, including experience in the reinsurance industry.
Meanwhile, Mr Preston most recently supported Aegon UK’s personal protection business, which will be transferred to Royal London later this year, bringing with him “a wealth of experience” as a technical underwriter and operations manager.
He has amassed medical and financial underwriting expertise and has used it to develop market-leading underwriting propositions.
By increasing support for advisors, the companies will ensure that the mutual continues to strengthen its overall proposition, including high net worth products.
Mr Johnson further said that Royal London has “clear ambitions” to continue to strengthen its position in the protection market and welcomes the addition of both men in shaping the future development of the company’s value proposition.
