PBS Utah is excited to announce the return of “Roots, Race & Culture” for its highly anticipated fourth season. Season 4 will continue our mission with hosts Lonzo Riggins and Danner Gerald as we explore the rich history, challenges, and contributions of Utah’s Hispanic American, Black communities, and BIPOC artists. Guests include artists, change-makers, experts, local spiritual leaders, and more, offering unique first-hand perspectives and insights.
“I think this season is our best lineup yet,” said content director Lisa Olken. “With inspiring guests from all walks of life, we joyfully combine laughter, lightness, and weight. We explore everything from teaching history in schools and family-friendly lowriding communities to the role of churches and outdoor recreation. We’re talking about everything from making it more accessible to everyone.”
