A makeup guru was surprised to find an affordable alternative to Fenty Beauty’s pressed powder.
She applied the $1.25 beauty product on one side of her face and Rihanna’s luxury brand on the other side for comparison.
Monica (@mangomonica) boasts over 592,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares “unfiltered beauty content.”
She was excited to try the $1.25 B-Pure Green Tea Infused Pressed Face Powder from Dollar Tree.
A commenter told her it looked like a “duck” to Fenty Beauty’s Invisimat Instant Setting + Blotting Powder, which Sephora sells for $37.
Monica already had a full face of makeup on when she used a powder puff to apply the Dollar Tree product on one side.
It appeared to blur her pores, reduce shine on her skin, and give her a “flawless” finish.
Monica then repeated the process on the other side of her face using expensive Fenty powder, with surprisingly similar results.
The makeup enthusiast put her hands to her head in shock when she saw how impressive both results looked.
“The battle of pressed face powder,” she captioned the post.
