Richmond City Council is hosting an open day to showcase inclusive sport proposals from across the borough to improve accessibility and encourage residents to be more active.
RISE (Richmond upon Thames Inclusive Sport and Exercise) offers a range of activity programs for people of all ages with special educational needs or disabilities.
The open day will feature a range of inclusive and disability-specific sports and exercise activities, tailored to suit diverse needs.

The event will feature a variety of sports and exercise options including cycling, dance, soccer, multisport, rugby and basketball.
All ages and ability levels are welcome to participate. Participants will have the opportunity to explore these activities with the guidance of experienced instructors who specialize in inclusive programming.

The launch day is in line with a wider health and wellbeing strategy aimed at improving local health and encouraging residents to lead more active lifestyles.
Through initiatives such as RISE and Richmond Moves, City Council continues to support accessible, low-cost programs that promote inclusivity in physical activity.
Residents do not need to register to participate, and RISE events are open to individuals of all ages and ability levels.
If you require specific support, you must be accompanied by a carer or personal assistant.
Participants under the age of 16 must ensure that a parent or carer remains at the venue.
