Lightweight world champion Rhiannon Dixon will defend her WBO belt against fellow Briton Teri Harper on Saturday, August 24, at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester.
Dixon, 29, from Warrington, is unbeaten in 10 professional fights and will be making the first defence of the title she won against Karen Elizabeth Carabajal in April.
The 27-year-old Harper is the WBA light middleweight champion and former super featherweight champion, and will be aiming to become a three-division champion when he fights in August.
“Dixon is someone I have a lot of respect for. She’s very respectful and doesn’t have a terrible ego,” Harper said.
