The Manchester United left-back was spotted limping badly as he left Kenilworth Road after the 2-1 win against Luton Town on Sunday afternoon.
There were doubts about Shaw’s fitness before the match, but the England international has improved steadily and appears to be a big boost for Erik ten Hag’s side.
However, as with last weekend’s match against Aston Villa, in recent victories that saw United unbeaten and on the rise, Shaw did not last long enough to be on the field in the second half.
Coach Erik ten Hag told reporters on Thursday that Shaw’s availability was in doubt, but there was a slight chance he would play. The question now is whether he rushes back to face the Hatters.
Shaw was replaced by Victor Lindelof at the end of the first half today, raising further questions about his injury record this season.
According to a Press Association reporter, the left-back did not appear to be in too much discomfort on his way to the tunnel, although simon peach provided a concerning update regarding the show’s fitness.

Shaw left the stadium with a limp, a setback that could keep him away from the team for future games. I hope not.
