Over the past few years, blush has become one of the beauty industry’s trendiest and most beloved products, officially replacing the harsher contouring techniques that reigned in the early makeup era in 2016. Hypernova satin matte blush
Available in eight shades, from a truly Barbiecore hot pink to a deep rosy bronze, REM Beauty Hypernova Satin Matte Blush is a weightless pressed powder packed with vibrant, buildable color.

This product aims to add a dewy, soft-focus look to the skin, and despite being a powder, it has a creamy element thanks to the plant-based emollients it’s formulated with.
Although the pigments are strong, the silky powder is blendable and allows for a healthy glow without unwanted streaks or harsh edges.
First impression
When I first opened the blusher, I was immediately drawn to the soft terracotta hue of Rose on Mars and the vibrant pink aptly named Pinking of You (which Grande wears in the campaign). Ta.
Housed in a futuristic silver compact, this formula feels buttery when applied with your fingertips and packs a brighter punch than other powders I’ve tried.

After applying Rose on Mars to the top of the cheekbones and Pinking of You to the top of the cheeks. I found that the color was incredibly pigmented with just a few swipes. This product blended easily with my favorite plump blusher, wasn’t too harsh on my fair skin tone, and melted away for a pretty yet natural-looking blush.
After hours of wear, this product not only layered beautifully over my go-to foundation for a skin-like finish, but also never felt cakey, even on the coldest of winter days. I found that it didn’t look dry at all. And even though it’s matte, the blush didn’t feel heavy on my skin.
verdict
When it comes to my makeup bag, one thing is for sure: Blush will forever be a mainstay. I always use liquid and cream formulas specifically, but powder formulas are great all year round because they not only set the cream-based products underneath, but also give you a soft matte finish that looks forever glamorous. They fit me like a glove. .
The Rem Beauty Matte Blush in particular is loaded with long-lasting pigments, and the colors blend beautifully within seconds, adding a petal-soft flush to my skin. Additionally, this launch further proved that just because a formula is matte doesn’t necessarily mean it looks or feels dry or heavy on the skin. Recommended for people who want to add a little color to their cheekbones.
