Race Across the World fans continued to scream at their TVs after one team accidentally lost their passports, causing great concern for their future on the show.

Betty, who was staying with a local family before taking a job as a deckhand on a fishing boat, suddenly realized she no longer had the waist bag containing their passports.
“Where’s my fanny pack? Oh my god, I think I left it on the bus,” a panicked Betty said, while James frantically searched for it in the car on the way to his homestay. Ta.
In a last-ditch effort to find the bag, the pair enlisted the help of one of the locals, who spoke English, and offered to call the bus company and explain what had happened.
Both Betty and James burst into tears as the reality of the situation sank in. An emotional James admitted: “I’m disappointed. It’s heartbreaking to lose. But obviously we’re doing this as a team. It’s about the team.”
But their lifeline came in the form of a kind bus driver. The driver contacted the team to let them know that their bags were indeed still at the bus stop, and they were soon able to retrieve all their worldly documents.
A relieved Betty said: “Actually, I don’t know when it’s going to end, so I’m going to enjoy every moment from now on. And I’m going to give James permission to slap me in the face with his passport or something.”
Domestic viewers are feeling stressed as well, with many taking to X to share their frustrations with such a frustrating situation.
One fan asked, “Isn’t the best part about buzz bags being that you don’t have to take them off?”, while another said: Betty and James live to fight again someday, phew. At least when James lost his fanny pack, everything in it was stolen. Betty wasn’t like that. ”
